Session rates at MILIKA vary based on the level of clinician experience and the specific service provided. MILIKA clinicians are considered out-of-network providers, meaning payment is made directly to us at the time of service. Upon request, we can provide a "superbill" to support clients in seeking potential reimbursement from their insurance for a portion of the session fee.

Many of our clients with PPO insurance with out-of-network benefits receive 30-80% of session costs reimbursed, depending on their specific coverage.

You can call your insurance customer representative by calling the number listed on the back of your insurance card. Consider asking the following:

  • What percentage of my bill will be covered for services obtained by an out-of-network provider?
  • How many sessions are covered per calendar year?
  • Is there a deductible for an out-of-network provider; if so, how much is it?
  • If they need the CPT/procedure codes, provide the following: 90791 for a 60 min intake evaluation (the first session), and 90834 for the follow-up 45 minute individual psychotherapy sessions.
  • They may ask for the office location: 16055 Ventura Blvd, Encino CA 91364.
